Immediately after breakfast we headed out for a long drive to Trinidad.
Lots of photos of the mogotes around Viñales,
more horse drawn carts,
bucolic farming country
some reservoirs,
and long lines of cars waiting for gas at the countryside gas stations.
We stopped at the outskirts of Havana at Henry’s (our driver) house. There his father had large containers of gas for us…so we wouldn’t’ have to wait several hours in a line for gas.
We met his parents and two children and the pet parrot.
A peep through the fence into the neighbors garden.
We were rejoined by Florence, Albert and Caroline. They arrived in another classic car.
We were refueled so headed out again. More countryside.
Along the way we had a driving tour of the town of Cienfuegos. There were lots of lovely buildings,
